Help me get E85 in Santa Rosa
I have Flex Fuel through DT. I commute to Vacaville for school from Santa Rosa, so I can get E85 on the way. The closest location on my E85 finder is in Napa. Is anyone interested in trying to do a petition or something to get E85 in SR?

Yes! I live in Healdsburg, but work in Santa Rosa. The only reason I jabent gone to E85 is because there isnt any here.

Have you tried sharing this on the local FB groups (NorCal, Sac86)?

I emailed Flyers, who has a station in the area, and who has an E85 plant, but I had no reply.
I emailed Pearson’s who supplies E85 to the pumps I use out of area. I got two emails: Quote:

The fact we have e85 in Napa still blows me away, and it's only two gas stations lol. Good luck!

[QUOTE=Irace86.2.0;3153212]Yea, it is odd. I don't know if it has anything to do with Napa being close to Sonoma Raceway, or just closer to Pearson's other stations along HWY 80.
I doubt it has anything to do with Sears Point since there are 3 cities closer to the point than Napa |
Maybe try petitioning them for a station in Healdsburg. There are some small independent stations up here.

Just an update. I have continued to email companies in the area. No confirmations yet on a pump going in, but I will keep working.

My temp solution is to store some E85. I have six 5-gallon gas cans that will fit in the trunk perfectly like crazy tight perfectly. I will fill up in Napa, which is a 25 mile drive then have 30 gallons until the next fill up. I only drive about 5-10 miles a day average, so that is 150-300 miles a month, which is 10-15 gallons a month roughly, so that should be good for three months, roughly. I can always top up when I travel out of the area too. This will have to work until I get a closer pump.

Big Update!
I just randomly checked Pearson’s app. There will be an E85 pump going into a gas station off of Todd Rd and 101! I just called to confirm, and the guy said sometime by early next year it’ll get installed and approved. This is great news. |

There are three new E85 stations added around Clear Lake where my brother lives, and there are three pending stations in the area around Santa Rosa. One in Santa Rosa, one in Petaluma and one in Healdsburg. Many more have been added.
On another note: I have 30 gallons of E85 if someone wants to buy it off me. I will be doing a K24 swap, and I don't need it immediately. I can just top off your car if you can take it, or you can buy the jugs and fuel, or we can fill up your jugs if you bring some. Whatever works, and we can figure out a fair price. This is in Santa Rosa. |
Petaluma E85 station is now open! Hopefully the Santa Rosa station and Healdsburg station comes online soon.
