Blackout taillight on Whiteout FR-S

After a few hours of hard work, a good friend and I followed the DIY here from the forum and blacked out the chrome on the rear taillights. I think they changed the look on the whiteout completely!

Hopefully it inspires more of you to do this mod. Totally worth every minute.

And now the final pics. I will snap some more in the daylight. I actually finished about an hour ago.

Looks good!! Thinking about doing it now, what did you use to paint them? The black chrome from the DIY? Are you also doing the head lights?

Juanito,

Yeah, used the shadow paint from the DIY. I like the results. Pics during the day in a few!

very nicely done. it looks amazing on white. How many coats of black base did you lay down? I applied 1 light and two thicker ones and mines came out a little darker than yours. It looks almost black on my car though because i have the dgm.

I started with a light coat. Then I used the rest of the can on both tails... 4 or 5 coats.. Lol I'm posting a few new pics in the daylight

You forgot to remove your plate in the last picture. I only mention it because you removed it in previous photos.
