10 Cars Most Likely To Get Ruined By Their Owners
|
Depends on how you define "ruined". One person's ruined is another's masterpiece. What is "ruined" is pretty subjective.
|
I give that a "zero popcorn" rating.

For sure all the 18 year old privileged kids who's parent bought them this car usually ended up wrecking in less than 6 months.

^ Yup, they slap the trashiest mods they can find. Make some terrible youtube videos. Then crash it after watching a couple episodes of initial D.

Pretty much a fluff article. To me ruined would be defined as adding a bunch of mods that make the car worth less than it would have been without the mods.

...And lo and behold, it's the very first one on the list! Although I agree that this article is some garbo' fluff since it makes you click for each individual rank for that (not so) delicious ad revenue. It's more or less every car that has ever been modified for one reason or another ranks among most likely to get "messed up" by sheer statistical majority. Civics are fairly common, affordable cars and look decent (the new ones in my opinion anyways) and what sort of young teenager hasn't seriously considered doing something unironically stupid with their car at least once? As for the 86, I'm fairly sure it's an uncommon car on the whole, and where I'm at in particular I haven't seen a single one out there since I even considered the car several months ago. Given how many people often don't recognize the 86 at a glance, it's not surprising that this pop-media lists of whatever don't include it at all. That's not to say the car isn't known, but it sure as heck isn't as recognizable as a corvette or camaro. |
Buy car
drive at redline consistently live for burnouts drift whenever possible shift as hard as possible at all times complain about reliability |
This one is easy:
1965 Dodge Polara 1961 Ford Falcon 2Door 1964 Ford Falcon Wagon 1971 Audi 1000 1977 Honda Civic CVCC Wagon 1983 Camaro Z28 1985 Toyota MR2 1999 Chevy Astro 2011 Chevy Astro 1999 Chevy Lumina LTZ These were all "ruined" by their owner (me) by taking loving care of them for 150,000 to 283,000 miles and having not one ounce of life left in them when I was done. There are others that escaped my full wrath but I think the FRS probably will join the list above. |
