Traded my 2013 10 Series for a Mustang Gt Track Pack...

Don't do it. This discussion has been talked about before, and the feelings were the same. I came to this realization in less than a week of ownership. I have had my 86 for nearly 4 years now so I worked out a deal where I got it back and now my baby is sitting in my driveway where she belongs.

That's my advice. All of the power and new luxury stuff Ford puts in those cars, it won't give you the fun you desire in your 86.

Speaking of....is there anyone within a 100 mile radius of me that owns an 86 and wants to do some driving? I live in 28080. Let me know, I could use an 86 buddy.

lol how was that not obvious before you went through that fiasco? i took a test drive of an ecoboost stang after i totalled my first twin and yea I thought it was pretty obvious that it can't hold a candle to a twin in terms of feel and fun..

You're assuming I lost money on this deal? If you can believe it, I actually made money, but that's how I good I am at negotiating.

Overall, the GT Track Pack is an awesome car. It came with a 3.73 Torsen LSD, 6 piston brembo brakes that literally rip your face off when you even think about touching them, and one hell of a sound track with 435hp. With the IRS, it actually felt great in corners and I've driven behind a 2015 with the same layout on Deal's Gap that was keeping the same pace as seasoned Miata drivers. But from my house to the bank to the dealership, I saw over 50 Mustangs and I don't look at it and drool the way I do my other cars.

Over the past years of trading in cars to buy new cars, I always figured that I got screwed, but never sure how - I just drive away with my new car and enjoy it -

So in the end, you disliked it because it was a way too common car.
