A bit down the road we hit a bump between the pavement and the tail light assembly flew off the car, hit the road, bounced over the car in front of me and came straight down on my bumper. It all happened like slow motion but I was boxed in and could not avoid it. I chased the car and got up beside it to signal them to pull over but took one look at the size of the 4 guys crammed in it and figured I could live with the damage so just got way ahead of them so no further parts would hit me.

Sounds like a pretty good argument for mandatory inspections lol. Seeing cars like that out on the road always scares me.

What I believe to be a lower control arm laying on the road.
Transport truck hit it and it flew up in the air. I saw it coming and managed to just about miss it but couldn't get over quite far enough. If that part of the quarter didn't flare out I would have been clear.
Picture doesn't show how deep it actually was very well and the white part at the rear is actually a cut right through the panel.

There is some nasty stuff driving around Detroit.

I get really frustrated, when in a turn lane at a light, the guy in front of me is rubbernecking my car so hard, he does not see the green arrow, and I have to honk.

Or worse, they are on their phone, and when I honk, they hold up 1 finger (Surprisingly the index) as if to say "hold on, im going to finish texting"

I mean WTF!? You are driving, pay attention!

It's ok... I must be getting old...

Oh yeah. GET OFF MY LAWN! LOL

Ya it sucks when they park on your lawn!

I hate driving it sometimes..... either people see it and you can visibly see them looking in their side mirrors and eventually slowly coming in to your lane because they're not driving well.... or they dont see it and come in to your lane like you're not there.

I have had a lot of cars, and a lot of low cars..... for being bright blue this thing is invisible.

Everyone tries to race me or ask me to do burnouts.

Pass.

I have almost that exact same crease except no idea where it came from.

I had it fixed since it cut through. Since the objects was moving and technically hit me it was comprehensive and not collision and therefore worth getting fixed.

I hate not being able to see around cars in front of me. Best practice on the highway is to be looking further ahead than the bumper in front of you, right? Absolutely impossible with the glut of crossovers , SUVs, and trucks on the road today.

I have to leave a ton of space in front of me because I'm always afraid the car in front of me is tailgating the car in front of him and could come to a sudden and expensive halt.

On the opposite end of the spectrum sometimes I can't tell that the person in front of me has miles in front of them and is just camping in the fast lane...

Large transports on the highway.
The other morning on my way into work at six am I honestly thought for a second that it had started snowing. As my headlights reflected upon what turned out to be dirt/dust in the air from a 53" dump trailer half a kilometer ahead filled to the brim with no tarp blowing shit all over the highway. :help:

- Being cut off due to how small the car is, and people more distracted by angry birds than driving.

- Getting stuck in the torque dip in the worst possible moment

Those cars were terrible lol, they might as well have been assembled with zip ties.

I'm coming up to almost 3 years of daily driving the frs. While I love it to death, I find myself wanting to obtain a more quiet and comfortable commuter car to go along side the "racecar". It's a goal of mine to daily a Lexus, not in the budget currently but is a stretch goal!

Yikes. I've had to dodge a canoe that was blocking 2 lanes of traffic on I-75 north before.... a CANOE
