Ecutek for a V8 swap?

I found this discussion on Facebook. The guy said he ran his ls with ecutek. Would this actually work? It seems it would solve the canbus dilemma.

He put a lot more work into it to be able to run it like that. He used all the wiring/sensors from the FA20 and made them work on the LS. So the LS is being run by the FA20 ecu. That is why he was able to use ecutek.

clearly wasn't running very well if he went to carbs lol.

I don't think he ever had a normal intake/fuel system on it. He went straight to carbs as he got them for super cheap.
