Curb alarm but maybe unusable

I put a curb alarm (or call it proximity alert) because the snout on this thing is so low. I figured the $300 it set me back was a lot less than one trip into a parking-lot barrier. It beeps when I get within about a foot of a curb, but ironically it's so low it bottoms when I go through even a slight dip. It only extends a little more than ½ inch below the bumper, but that may be too much. I'm trying to figure out if I can mount it somewhere else, but they apparently don't work well if they're higher on the car.

How is it affixed to the car?

I reckon I'd just move it around till I found out where it worked.- :iono:

I need one of those for the BACK of my cars -

Pics? What are the dimensions of this device?

Could it be poked through one of the holes in the grill rather than under the lip?
