As long as you pass the emission test and your exhaust is not too loud, I believe no issue to renew your registration.

But I am sure dealer will void your warranty.

I am aware of the warranty issue, I just need someone to confirm I can renew my registration. The muffler won't be loud cuz I don't like that shit anyways

my insurance is from ADNEC, but government employees have discount. I think 50% off. I paid about 2400, but I have new license. Next year they said only 1500 to pay for it.

Hey guys, was thinking today how we don't have an Instagram page, (the 86cult one has been long abandoned lol) so i made one, its UAE86CLUB. I am also trying to sync up with the people who run the 86cult fb page so it can be the official instagram page of 86cult, I know it might cause some confusion making a new page with a new name but hopefully this will soon clear up and i'll change its name to 86cult. Anyone with a manual 86 facing any issues with 5th gear.

I have bought the car in 2012 from Oman and am experiencing a harsh/resistance when up shifting and downshifting into 5th gear. Am unable to check with other owners since the dealer only sold one car with manual transmission. For the past 2 years i have complained at the dealer(Bahwan) about the problem but they told me its normal. Yesterday i took the car again for a test drive at the dealer. The technician person noticed the harshness /resistance and told me he will check with the management. Today i received a call from the dealer stating that its normal. I did ask them on what basis they made the claim since my car is the only one with manual transmission. They responded back that they approached the dealer in Bahrain and was told it normal.

I would really appreciate if you could share your experience with the car and dealer.
