My registration is expiring this month.
When I got the car last year I got the insurance from Al Futtaim/Orient for AED 3700.
This year I am trying to shop around and the best I got so far 3400 from RSA.

I tried it out but it doesn't work. Just checking if anyone of you managed to get it to work on our model here.

how many days you get your 86 from alfuttaim agent? is the agent accept cash or check?

I believe the base model doesn't have alarm, only the immobilizer system.
Not sure for the mid/high specs.

Anyone with any tips on how to protect the headlights from the dusty conditions we drive in? I generally polish them to protect them, but recent sandy days have me concerned. Any advise?

Wax your car regularly including the headlights.
I use Meguaiar's UQW every 2 weeks. Only 15-20 mins to do whole car.
My car is 1 year old now and headlights still looks good.

I mean, I know some people have it in UAE, but what are they doing about the registration?

As long as you pass the emission test and your exhaust is not too loud, I believe no issue to renew your registration.

But I am sure dealer will void your warranty.

I am aware of the warranty issue, I just need someone to confirm I can renew my registration. The muffler won't be loud cuz I don't like that shit anyways
