Looking to install XAV-AX200SXM in a 2017 BRZ

Hey guys

I have some questions. I configured this on Crutchfield and so far it looks like the XAV-AX200SXM will work with the 2017 BRZ with their install kit. There are a few things I am puzzled over.

Anyone running this?

1) I want to use the stock shark fin, so I see I might be able to use this adapter Can anyone confirm?

2) Can I use the stock mic or do I need to run the mic provided which looks like hell from 1988?

3) I would love to hear feedback about reverse camera operation, etc. Also, how the HU reacts to different things. For instance, using carplay and listening to XM.

Thanks

1)
For Radio signal you just need this adapter: https://www.crutchfield.com/p_12040L...r.html?tp=2569

2) The stock mic will not work. But the good new its very easy to remove and run the new one to the stock location so it looks OEM.

3) I can't help you on this.

Don't know about operation, however you will be better off using the mic from your new headunit. The antenna adapter you linked to is used to retain the factory xm radio antenna. The am/fm antenna is separate from the xm. Pricey little adapter but well worth it imo for xm. Works great too.
