2018 USDM tS armrest padding.
 

Hi all,

So I recently sat in a 2018 Toyota 86 TRD (first facelift model I’ve sat in) and the first thing I noticed was just how plushy the padding was for the door armrests. I was so impressed that I ordered the Subaru “ultrasuede” upper armrests from FT86sf.

Now my question is really about the lower armrests (alcantara/leatherette). I heard the JDM 2015 tS 2 tone armrests had the same padding as the 13-16 models which is total crap. Do the 18 tS lower arm rests come with more padding than the previous 13-16 armrests?

The TRD model I was in had 2 tone lower armrests (cloth/leatherette) that had a ton of padding, which is why I’m thinking the tS will have just as much padding.
