I finally got my car!
2018 BRZ Limited with Performance Package
I ordered this thing back on June 9th and I finally got it! Already got some toys ready to go on (GReddy Revolution cat back, taillight vinyl overlays, etc) that'll go on once I get the plates. http://i.imgur.com/HcsVRnUr.jpg I have a lot of plans for this thing. Does anyone have any experience with Bridgestone Blizzak tires? |

Those tires plus
Michelin Xice plus Nokian models are your best bet for tire brands of winter tires. Best to have four snow tires on this car. Your choice if you want studded snow tires or not. Best to use additional wheels for winter tires...steel wheels are cheapest. Main reason for additional wheels is because mount and balance labor prices have gotten expensive. It is typical now to pay $25. each wheel for mount and balance these days. Can we believe Consumer Reports ? Attached from their November 2018 issue which just came in my mail: |

Steel wheels are best and dedicated wheels saves a pile of wear and tear changing tires every year. Even better to go to 16" wheels and keep them narrow. Th deeper sidewalls help a pile in deeper snow. |

find some older OEM wheels and use spacers. There built in pockets should allow you to run spacers to clear PP brembos

General Altimax Arctics are also a great option. I run them on my BRZ here in Chicago, and they work fine, even when I go ice racing on the frozen lakes of Wisconsin.
