Just creating this thread to see where the OG's stand on having bought/ not bought the FR-S / BRZ. More out of curiosity than anything else, since we've all been chiming in on these boards for almost 3 years now.

Haven't gotten mine yet. Will be buying a house shortly so I'm keeping my credit clear to get a mortgage. As soon as that is done however, I'm jumping in on an FR-S.

Haven't decided on color...whiteout, firestorm, or ultramarine.

What years are considered OG?

Ive got mine! Argento 6sp manual. And loving every second of it.

Finances are... complicated right now.

I've got ~25% of the price of a BRZ (silver, 6M) in the bank but that could end up going elsewhere. But if it does end up in option two, there will be some... titanic product development starting locally.

Yes, I've lurked for 3+ years.

Haven't pulled the trigger yet...can't bring myself to pay MSRP or dealer mark-up and want to wait for the second model year so all of the bugs can be worked out

havent ordered yet 18 month wait down here and about to leave work so decided to wait for better finances and shorter time between order and delivery

lookin for a second job so i wont have to be living paycheck to paycheck when i get this car, still havn't decided on what color/model.

I wanted to wait for 2nd year but life situation didn't give me much choice I had to get a car and was just able to wait long enough to pick up my FRS

Waiting for factory boosted version (possibly, forever :( ).

Also, the 1st gen model has had a bunch of quirky problems (idle issues, failing sensors, etc) reported...
