Canadian speedometer gauge face

Hi there,

I've brought my gt86 from the US to Europe and now thinking of converting some of the gauges to metric. In particular, would like to change the speedometer gauge face from the US one - which is MPH primary and KM/H secondary - to Canadian - which is KM/H primary and MPH secondary (if that's right?).

I'd like to keep the miles still (as secondary) so figured out a Canadian gauge face should work.

What do you think? Any idea on where I can get a Canadian OEM gauge face?

Cheers!

These can be ordered in KMPH on top MPH below.

Yes, thanks, I've seen that on their webshop. I somehow dislike the Magna gauges. Would prefer an OEM one. Maybe someone here has one swapped out for Magna and not need it?

Your thoughts on the Canadian face is correct:

No idea where you'd find one without the whole cluster though.

I have a stock one. I have the Magna installed. I usually hold onto my stock parts though

How did you manage to get your car shipped there? Wouldn't it have been easier to buy a new one?

I liked it too much and felt like selling it would be losing my passion and my hobby. Of course I could have gotten another one here but as a friend says "bad decisions make great stories" :D So I paid for shipping and it was not so bad, around 1,200 US including insurance etc. There was some work though getting it legal here, although not so bad - a couple of inspections. I would like to keep MPH as a secondary unit, since mine a US model anyway and there are a few other reminders of it around the car, so a Canadian-style gauge would actually be exactly perfect for it

Please :) please please :help: if you maybe don't need it?) Please? :D

I don't remember the last time I used the left analog speedometer.

There's an analog speedometer?

Such wasted space.

Yep, the one on the left. I wonder whether it is a legal safety requirement in some countries to have an analogue one? no? Anyway, I kind of like the old-school look and feel of an analogue speedometer when cruising on a road, while on the track I typically look only at the rev counter, and occasionally on the digital speedometer

I was being facetious. The speedo is located in such a bad spot and the numbers and lines are so small and close together it is almost impossible to tell what your actual speed is. I don't think I have looked at it since the first day I bought the car.
