That's because AutoNews is full of shit.

... the really sad part about this thread is that people actually read the article enough to quote it...

Let this one die folks. :burnrubber:

Been on the forum 5 years now, and at least 6 times each year someone posts an auto news article which a title like "ALL NEW BRZ/FRS/86 SLATED FOR ****" or "86/FRS/BRZ CANCELLED!?" click bait posts plus click bait articles and then someone below the post gets into a fight with someone else over validity of something

:sigh: Wish people would stop acting like their the first person seeing an article then immediately posting on the forum.

The only "corporate" people that would know about it are in Japan, autonews is a click bait website...

I'm betting that is just another special edition.

Regardless, I still think getting a 2nd gen is more likely than Toyobaru ending things.

I'm not so sure. Yes, it has the PP/RS style wheels but...
Where are the Brembos? Where is the rear wing/spoiler/air deflector?

One site starts the ball rolling with s eork of fiction then the others run with it. Believe none until it comes directly from the companies. Even then reserve a little doubt because they screw up facts as well on occasion.
There will be more stories based on these.

it is indeed odd but it appears to even have the updated MY19 rear fender fins. maybe just another mid-cycle refresh?
