Spec-D Boomerang Headlight onto GT86 help!
 

So I recently bought the Spec-D headlights thinking they were gonna fit onto my 2017 GT86 but boy was I wrong. I saw some of the threads made on how people spliced up the cables but I got confused a ton on it. So now I'm here wondering if someone who actually did it on their 86 have a diagram/"cheat sheet" thats user friendly on how I go about with this or should I just bring it into a shop and have them do it for me. :bonk::thanks:

I too wanna know about this. If anyone out there can help with the wiring it be greatly appreciated.

forgive my junior post count; yes, I'm new here...it should be simple if you troubleshoot it logically and develop a plan.

- Have you made any progress on this project?
- How many installation videos (documentaries) or how-tos have you watched read?
- Did you make a wiring map (with labels), on paper, for each side so you could follow the colors and then cut/splice/pin as needed at the appropriate location?
- Do you know the functions of the wires and what color does what (+/-) for your model year 86?

I'm not trying to be harsh; I'm trying to help you complete the task so you can enjoy your spec-d lights.

The biggest thing I've learned when working on the car and in the depths of the Alaskan outback, is to have a plan and write stuff down so you can reference as many times as you need to.
