UEL Catted Header Sound Review | Ft86speefactory |

Hey guys!

Just installed the Ft86speedfactory CATTED uel header.

It's interesting how it rumble down low and smooths out up top. Sounds clip below!

it's a noticeable bump throughout the powerband, especially around the "torque dip".

I wouldn't say it's completely transforms the car though. If you can find a used catted header for a good price i would get it. $375~.

I would not get this new for 1k that is listed on their website.

Fitment: 5/10 i had a small leak when connecting to the overpipe, i highly recommend thicker gaskets here.

Build Quality: 8/10 : Welds and feel are great.

Performance: 7/10 : Though better, it was pretty much you expect.

Sound: 8/10 : Rumbly down low, but loses it up in the higher rpm. Those looking for that iconic subaru rumble, i recommend something else like the tomei uel. For a catted option, this does a great job though.

Value: 10/10 : if you can find it used, you are in for a treat. I was able to get mine for 375.

Overall, i am satisfied with the purchase!

Great post makes me want to make a post on my header as well

Also alot of headers seem to have an issue with the overpipe. I reccomend grimmspeed gaskets and high temp RTV that fixed all my issues.
