Does FRS come with Carbon drive shaft?

Hey guys,

When I was doing a test drive on the FRS, I remember the sales mention something about the FRS uses a carbon drive shaft. That sounded pretty awesome, but when I look at the picture, it looks pretty steel looking to me.

I couldn't find any post mentioning about that, could someone confirm if this some marketing BS?

Thanks!

1050 is cheap for a carbon drive-shaft in my opinion.

They make all sorts of driveshafts. My friend has one of their lightweight aluminum shafts in his Mustang. From what I've seen of it, it's pretty damned good quality. I might be interested in the same for our cars.

The manual and auto have different drive shafts?

Calum 07-28-2012 03:15 PM

interesting, but there's nothing about weight difference, strength or one vs two piece. Insufficient information on their page.

Silverdub 07-28-2012 03:39 PM

Wow not that expensive im really going to look in to it soon!
