Reputable place for service near Redwood City?
 

The local Redwood City dealership wants $110 to do an oil change and $180 to install my Homelink mirror (which I'll do myself at that price).


Any recommendations on where to go for routine service in my area? Just looking for solid work at a fair price.

Elite Performance in Burlingame. They do regular maintenance and repair work in addition to race car prep and pretty much any level of car mods. [emoji106]

Pretty easy things to DIY but if you didn't want to I would recommend Elite Performance in Burlingame as well. Give them a call and they can help you out.

Honestly for the oil change I'd just recommend doing it yourself. The entire process can be done in 30 minutes including lifting the front of the car. Its so easy on this car its a bit ridiculous.

Not to mention you'll spend less money doing the same thing that will take the same amount of time.

This was less about the oil change itself and more about finding a solid local shop for long-term service. I ended up going to Exclusive Auto Care - a few of their guys are ex-Carlsen (Subaru) techs, and I even saw another 86 parked out front when I went back to pick up, so they're clearly familiar with our cars :thumbsup:

I usually go to my friendly autocare in san jose near valley fair mall... Typically about 80 dollars for motul oil change. Super nice owner!
