Yes, that is true. Though, I did go through almost every tutorial before I proceeded. :/

I don't think it has much to do with the sway bar. Are the struts assembled correctly? The three nuts mounted on the top tower? The lowering spring should actually make the strut to sit shorter/higher. Get a long pry bar, perhaps with buddy, and push down on the LCA.

So apparently there was something stuck under the rotor so it did not go down all the way. I appreciate the help! Now to the rears..

I went over there to help with what I could. We got the struts out, but the install didn’t go as planned. We couldn’t get the lca back onto the car. Every time we tried to put it back. The last bolt didn’t line up. After 3 hours ish I had to leave have work in a few hours. Anybody able to give this guy any ideas?

Did you release the e-brake? If the e-brake is on, it can force the rear suspension to contort in weird ways.

that i didn't try. i didn't even think of that since the car was already in the air when i got there.
