Crap, oil leak.......

Facing the car, center right. Assuming it's one of the TSB leaks. Still under warranty, going to dealer tomorrow. Fix, or not? Not crazy about having the thing taken apart.

EDIT 8/31: Dodged a bullet! Seems that at the last service they installed two washers/seals on the oil drain plug, so that was the source of the leak. They were great about it as well, to include "oops, sorry, we screwed up".

I'm pretty sure having an active oil leak is worse than having it repaired?

Yeah, I agree. I'm just reluctant to have it taken apart. I wish I had a garage and the ability to do it myself.

How did it happen? Any changes to the car?

Stock, the only change I can think of is that I've been using E85 to E95 all summer. Leak is recent, not even a month. I started wondering why my AC water puddle was not evaporating. Only 13k miles, too. Grrrrr.

There was a fellow on the forum recently that "superglued" (or something) his leak by applying several coats to the OUTSIDE. I don't know if it held .. :iono:

Why not to fix it under warranty? His car is new ...

Well, that would be just fine - IF they fixed it right. After reading about what it takes to take that cover off, clean it up properly and put it back together properly, I would have my reservations about whether or not the average tech at a dealership could pull that off - :sigh:

None of the car, unless I can see it at the shop.

Dealer had an oil spill and just cleaned up when I came in. I left a few drops in the five minutes it sat there. I didn't realize it was leaking that fast.

Yeah, it's not a small job. If I had my own garage, I'd set aside about two weeks to do the job. Ah, well. These things happen. Portland Toyota has several real good techs, hopefully yhey get the job.
