Performance Package spare tire vs. regular spare

I searched but couldn't find an answer..

Is the PP spare the same size as the regular spare?

I upgraded to 2007 wrx brakes so now I'm worried the spare might not fit..

I figure a PP spare would be good, or a wrx one too.

But if my stock one will fit than i'm good with that!

Thanks in advance

You could always just put your regular spare on and check.

it's in the trunk, no you don't have full size spare. spare is some tiny yokohama.

any bigger it wont fit under there.

Unless your trunk looks like this

Ohh sorry i meant regular spare as in non-pp sparre, the little small one, .not as in full size :/ full size spare would be great though

PP spare is different than non-pp. It's not a full size, but it's a little bigger than the non-pp.

You can get a space saver from a early 2000 something STI, hard to find, but space savers suck IMO.

I spent a little time trying to find a spare, the PP rims cost a heap here, I was quoted $1k from Toyota, I did find one for $300 new on the interwebs but with $ dollar conversion and shipping it was still to costly.

I ended up getting RPF-1's and now have one of the PP rims in the boot as a full size spare.

I'm trying to sell the other 3 PP rims now, I just need someone as anal as me that requires a full size spare.

I've been meaning to test fit a friend's PP spare over my AP Racing BBK for the same reason. I'm running on borrowed time since it's been over a year since I installed them and I know the spare in my trunk is basically useless at the moment, lol.

Do someone have the part number for PP spare? Italian PP cars don’t have the spare tyre...

Those are the stock wheels. We are talking about the spare tire. The steelie.

I believe 28151FE030 MIGHT be the proper part number, but I'm not sure.

We don't have a steel rim option here in AU, Toyota and Subaru Australia said my only option was another PP rim.

In some markets (yours, for example) the spare tire is indeed a full-size spare. But that's not the case for the OP, who lives in the US. If it was, this thread wouldn't exist! :P
