Looking for good local mechanic - Philly

Hey everyone. Just moved to Philly (East Falls) with my '13 Firestorm FR-S.

Looking for a decent independant mechanic. So far I've had terrible luck with the big chain stores (Meineke, Pep Boys) just trying to get simple stuff like oil change and tires done. Unfortunately I don't really have a driveway that affords me the ability to do much on my own.

Where do you guys take your cars?

Check out Dunn Fabrication.

I recommend these guys also, but I wasn't sure if they did routine maintenance.

In the Philly (and surrounding) area, you will want to check out:

VACMotorsports: http://www.vacmotorsports.com/
---this shop is in philly proper (25th and snyder---south philly, near Oregon Avenue). I used to work here for many years. Their work is top notch, but pricey. They also mainly work on BMWs, but have the skills/knowledge to work on any car. They are 100% in-house. You can have everything from oil changes to 100% billet aluminum blocks CNC'd. Can't recommend these guys enough.

and for shops in the surround area, check out:

Gear one performance: https://www.gearoneperformance.com/ in west chester, pa

FAST (family auto service and tuning): http://www.fastofwestchester.com/
also in the west chester, pa area. My good friend Dave Brown (former head tech at Scott Honda) owns this shop and does an amazing job with everything he does, from routine maintenance to 100% custom work.

There is also RT Tuning: https://www.rttuning.com/
---never used these guys, but have heard good things

Area132: https://www.area1320.com/ is in Nazareth, PA (north of Philly) but I have heard good things about this crew as well.

+1 for dunn fab.

From east falls to their shop is probably 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. They're literally right across from the bettsy ross bridge

+1 for VAC and for RTTuning

VAC sorted out my friends e36 m3 really well, we had done alot to it and found some issues sorting out vacuum leaks which plagued it and O2 sensor issues, took them two days to narrow it all down and figure it out although for a pretty high price.

RT-tuning supposedly blew up a kids STi that went to my high school but I'm not too sure about that  kid was clueless and had alot of issues. Plus ringland failure is always a risk on those ej motors.
