Squeaky Clutch Noise, Help?

Long story short, my clutch is making a squeaky noise when pressing the clutch in. It pretty much sounds like this video that i found on youtube.
[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8v3J1ltziG0"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8v3J1ltziG0 [/ame]

Initially i thought that it needed some multi purse degreaser on the rubber cover showed in the video. However, that did not fix my problem.

Also want to mentioned that this noise goes away after car fully warms up or after driver about 30mins or so. :iono:

I took it to the subaru stealership and they told me that the have to replace a clutch bearing. I have no clue what the problem is so im going to take it for repair this wednesday.

My question is, if the issue is a 'clutch bearing' , wouldn't the noise never go away even after the car is fully warmed up?

Oh and FYI, Subaru notice the high pitch sound coming from the fuel pump (the famous crickets that is mentioned all around this forum). They told me that subaru released an updated part and that they will replace that as well. Not sure if that will take car of the crickets sounds, not really having high expectation on they fixing it as i already got used to hearing them.

The TOB bearing noise goes away when the car is warmed up. Worth having it changed anyway.
You have about a 70% chance that the new pump will do away with the crickets (based on reports on here).

Does the clutch squeak when the car is off and you press the pedal? From my experience the pivot squeak will occur when the car is off and the throw out bearing only makes a noise when the car is on. I've had both issues and greasing the pivot fixed that particular squeak for me

It happens when the car is OFF or ON. I tried adding the grease but did not worked.

OK if happening when the car is off it is not the TOB. It needs to be spinning.
Probably just needs the fork lubed. If they are doing the TOB under warranty though just let them go ahead.

Thanks for letting me know, I lubed the part that is covering the fork (also the metal part) but did not work. I had no idea i had subaru gold warranty until 60K, so its covered under the plan. I have to pay my $100 deductible for them to fix it.

The TOB is a TSB repair so should be covered under your standard warranty for free. Same with the fuel pump.

Yes the fuel pump they told me there is no charge.

But for the clutch bearing, since im at 40K ,they told me that i have to use my gold plan and just pay my deductible.

Still a decent deal.

FYI - For anybody that cares to know or if you have a similar issue.

Subaru replace the throw out bearing for free. They also replace the fuel pump , they claim subaru fix the cricket noise with this updated part. So far the issue is fixed.
