I am on MPSS, stock size but on 17x8 RPF1s.

tbh i didnt know MPSS was considered to have soft sidewalls.

Compared to the stock Primacy's, yes

I also noted they were softer than the stock tires I had on my 2011 sti.

interesting. i didn't notice any extra softness from them.
