Ecutek ECU programming question for newbie

i need to revise my Ecutek tune in order to acommodate the flex fuel kit i just installed. i guess i had a bad tank of 91 petro so i have to empty it out, get another tank of 91 and then flash the tune back to the car. i'm new to Ecutek and just downloaded the software on my laptop. The tune file is also on my laptop. i'm reading the instruction of how to program the ECU using Ecutek, it's kind of confusing, which way should i do it? via Query ECU or Enter Utility Mode? which method allows me simply choose the .bin file i want to program?

do i need to have the license USB drive plugged in at all time when running the software?

To use ecutek software to flash car you need to have ecutek cable and the Deskey dongle (it looks like a usb stick but its not) plugged into PC at all times.

Their is no need to reflash tune unless the tune has changed ie yu got a new updated tune.

If you need to reflash use Detect vehicle then program ecu option then query ecu to check connection. then in top left of screen window their is option to select tune file to flash

maybe read here

Theirs also help files supplied with ecutek that can be accessed via the ecutek menu

Good point on not needing to reflash the same tune again after getting new rank of gas. But that’s what installler recommended.

I just watched that exact same video lol. Any pros and cons for using Query ECU or Enter Utility?
