2019 Now Online

Here's your precious Neptune, boys and girls.
https://www.toyota.com/86/ For those of you that are upset about the ride height of the TRD SE, it's the same ride height as the Base and GT. You can get the TRD Springs on the TRD SE just like you can on the Base and GT for some OEM low. . |
The 19s have been on the Canadian site for about two weeks. The Neptune has already been shown on here several times.

Edit, plus I think there was confusion as to whether the TRD Springs were compatible with the Sachs dampers. They are available to order on the TRD SE so they have to be. |

Def a 'murica issue, I have yet to find a 2018 86 at any of the dealers after looking around at inventory online, even calling a few. One dealership said they only have one and its located in Harrisburg 150+ miles away within their dealer network. I wonder how the 19s will fair.... |
No more GT Black editions for the 2019?

I've seen so many Twins in the GTA region, I've always wondered where the talk about what a sales flop these cars have been was coming from... That Oceanic colour intrigues me... But I'm kinda bummed they got rid of some of the bright colours |

Seems the rollout is somewhat slow if the 18's are trickling in now. Im not expecting the 19's to show up any time soon. The other suscky thing is that they tend to keep with the dull boring colors (Black/white/silver/grey). So if I was to pick up an 18 right now, it'd have to be one of those colors (right now seems like black and white are the only 2 colors available in the GT trim on dealer lots in my city). Any different colors would have to be special ordered. |
Crazy how quickly the 19's went live. The 18's didnt go live on the USDM website until mid-January IIRC. Might have even been February.

CarGuru's shows 620 new '17/'18 86's for sale in the US alone, far above the usual Toyota 30-45 days supply they manage with the just in time system. That partly explains why '19 production was halved.
https://tinyurl.com/ybudqzfq Some '17's are discounted at around $8K. https://tinyurl.com/y7csnjd5 Now that the '19's are arriving in dealerships, the discounts should improve as the dealers sweat the aging inventory, seasonality factor and expiring incentives. Regions get to roll their own dealer/customer incentives but they only last so long. This month and possibly next would be good times to snag a clearance deal but I wouldn't wait too long before TMNA pulls the customer cashback (up to $1,500 on the '18's only), maybe by next month. |
How long has Lava not been available?

Most cars launch before the end of the year. |
I love that blue, a lot.
Had I seen that 4 months ago I might have eaten any discounts I got on the 2017 and ordered a 19. |

Despite that, Neptune looks like a great color too, although I would need to see it in person or see more pictures in different lighting to accurately judge. I really liked the BRZ hyperblue and it seems a close match. If I had to get a new one that would be my top pick now. Myriad |
