in the british speaking world it was June 8th, because they are weird and put the date wrong.

I do love the AT on this car as well. The rev matching and that you can use the paddle/stick shifter without going into Manual mode. Downshifting on demand.

I have back issues with other car seats and have no issues with this seat. The cloth material probably also grips better than leather. I really like the AT combined with sport mode that gives you already one gear less to downshift. I won't use sport mode on an onramp. I'm scared that the reduced traction control will cause me to wipe out or else I'd use it all the time.

Sport mode only affects the gear/shift logic. It has nothing to do with traction, it's simply a transmission mode. I keep mine on all the time.

I love my FRS so much that I sold my 520hp corvette, and I am buying another FRS today. That will make 2! 2013 and 2016. The car is simply the most fun car I have ever driven. And I have owned 25 Corvette's. Faster, yes. More fun? No.

When driving at night, NAV screen off, all dash lights are the same shade of red. No whites/blues/distracting colors.

The VSC Sport button (if that's what you're referring to) doesn't turn everything off. It decrrases their sensitivity and will let you wiggle the tail a little bit, but it still keeps things in check and will activate the controls to reign the car back in before you can get into trouble. It's almost like bicycle training wheels. The car will not let you wipe out in that state unless you drive sideways through a puddle the size of a small lake.

The Sport button in the center (above the Snow button) makes the transmission stay in each gear longer before shifting. Basically it takes the car out of its normal mode of trying to be econimical and goes for giving you as much acceleration as you can get out of the first 4 gears (...if you manage to run through all of 4th gear, you'd better be at a huge racetrack, lol). But that Sport button by itself does nothing to the traction control system.

If it's not what you're doing already, push the VSC Sport button and then the Sport button for the transmission. You should see two green lights and one Amber one on the right side of your cluster. Try that out and see what you think.

... The smile it puts on my face after a spirited run! People slowing to check it out even after nearly 6 years of ownership!

I often find Porsche owners giving a look. Not sure if it's because they know what the 86 is or if they just like (or detest) the look.

I love being constantly surprised by who is behind the wheel.
It isn't always a young male; often finding older gents, older ladies, young ladies, etc. enjoying the car.

And yes, this level of power with this MPG is pretty extraordinary.
I'm typically getting 22MPG per tank in the S2000, 70/30 city/highway though, while the BRZ gave me an easy 30MPG consistently, even with spirited driving.
