Pioneer TS-WX610A Spare Tire Subwoofer - Review & Install

Install and Review of the Pioneer TS-WX610A Spare Tire Sub.
Sorry for the horrid camera work, wasn't even planning on filming this, but thought it might be helpful to someone.
Installed in my 2017 Subaru BRZ

(how do I get that to embed?)

You can embed YouTube links not by hyperlinking, but by straight up pasting the link straight in, like so:

[ame]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yqNkRzwStLQ[/ame]

In your case it would be by pasting https://ww w.youtube.com/watch?v=yqNkRzwStLQ (take out the space between the two w's)

Nice.

Could you post a pic with the trunk floor piece in showing how much the sub raises it.

IYO, any concern about damaging the sub by placing heavy objects in the trunk on top of it?

Thanks, I posted the Share link, not the actual URL, I will fix the first post.

That would be hard to get a photo of honestly, its baaarely over 1/8" I think.
Actually once I put the factory flooring in, and the factory plastic/rubber cover, I cant even tell its raised.

I would say it would be VERY difficult to damage the sub by placing things on top of it, with the factory flooring and cover in place.
The sub is mainly made of plastic, but seems very stout.

i wouldn't touch off branded subs with a 20 foot pole unless the https://www.diymobileaudio.com/forum/ recommends it. The majority is total garbage, however there are several off brands that are also really really good and it is impossible for a normal person to know the difference.

Fwiw, I use CDT 3 way crossovers in my car, they work and are solid quality. I've got them mounted behind the trunk liner above the wheel's with little padding and no air flow and have had 0 issues. I had a set of audiopipe crossovers before, and a cap broke free inside after about a year. I will admit that CDT documentation is very.. light..
