Fixed.

The grounding wire had a little bit of white corrosion on it, scraped it off, lights on the left side were equally bright BUT...... still hyperblink!

So I unscrewed the left signal and took one more close look with a brighter flashlight and there was the tiniest specs of the same white corrosion on parts of the socket. Easily scraped it away with my key. Plugged the bulb back in - VOILA. Works again.

The right signal is probably not far behind - going to clean it as well.

Get some electrical contact cleaner and clean them thoroughly again then use dielectric grease on the contacts to keep it from happening again.

Also it wouldn't be a bad move to upgrade to LED turn signal bulbs and a hyperflash relay as you have valentis they would match perfectly

Electrical 101 - clean the contacts - I reckon that book got lost here lately -:(

Definitely a bot, google search shows the username being created on a ton of forums around the same time 17 hours ago and posting one line comments like these.

Also seems to like things involving lighting and replies to car forums where lighting things are involved

Oh I had no doubt it was a bot. I just play a game with the "better" ones where I try to guess what the link that eventually shows up will be for.
