2018 Toyota 86 Insurance

does anyone know how much insurance cost for a year on our cars?

i do know that some insurance companies might charge more for scion rather than toyota, so i would like to know how much you guys are paying for the toyota version.

i am in my late 20's, no accidents, no tickets, clean record.

im trying to get a good idea on how much i can expect to pay. thanks

BTW, i live in portland, oregon

This is a pretty common thread and its difficult for anyone to give an estimate because it's specific to each person and location and other factors including what kind of coverage you get. All we can recommend is shop around for multiple quotes from different companies.

do you know a good site i can use to compare quotes from each company?

ps: i went on liberty mutual site right now, and i put in my info and they quoted me 200/month. that is bullshit. on other threads, im reading people in their early 20's are paying around $100/month.

i chose the 100k bodily harm 300k accidental, damage.

Every state/city could be different. You need to call insurance companies up and see what they would charge in your area.

Exactly what Hachirokux said, you need to talk to each one. Also physically speaking with an insurance agent at their location will get you a better deal than an automated online system.

Take 1 hour out of your day and call actual agents in Portland, not 1-800 numbers. Try wawanesa they only serve OR and CA. You will usually get a better rate dealing with real agents. I pay 90 per month personally, and my limits of coverage 350,000/500,000 with a 250 deductible. Good luck I hope u can get a manageable payment.

There ya go, @Twin-Dragons.

Like mentioned, there are too many variables for us to give you an estimate (unless "we" are an insurance agent(s)).

If you haven't changed your gender yet to female, I recommend that to start with.

Proof it works for the naysayers: https://www.autoblog.com/2018/07/27/...car-insurance/

Just got my used 2013 in SoCal with Liberty i am paying about 1100$ a year for the FRS. 33 clean record and been driving snice I was 16. 100/300 and 500 comp 1000 collision

2018 tS in Houston. I'm paying $199/month right now. 4th car on the policy and three of those are paid off. I have no tickets or accidents but my 20 y.o. daughter has had a few. Apparently my rate is impacted by her driving record as she cannot be excluded from diving the car, despite the fact that she quite literally cannot drive the car.

When I was originally looking the BRZ and the 86 were almost exactly the same price. The tS bumped it up about $13 per month.
