Any alternatives to the black leathery door sill plate?
 

Hello, does anybody know if there are any alternatives to that black leathery door sill plate that gets scuffed up? Not the metal one that is hidden when the door is closed but the part that is part of the interior trim. I was hoping that there was something more durable that I could replace it with that won't scuff up every time I drag my foot across it. All I can find are carbon fiber sill plates that replace the metal ones. Thanks!

Maybe wrap it in some vinyl or actual leather.

Are you talking about where you put a water bottle? or the speaker trim?

You could just downgrade to the 2013 full plastic panel.

He is talking about the door sill. The part on the bottom of the door frame beside the carpet.

The rubber part is where you put your hand during egress, or at least I do.

That is exactly what it is. I was really impressed when I learned this.
