2013 FRS Touch Screen BT with One Plus 5T issues
 

Just got my used 2013 Series 10 with the better touch based Head unit. Well sadly my current One Plus 5T refuses to see the head unit to pair. I know it was working as the car still had several units pair to it before I deleted them. Any One Plus users out there who had this same problem, please let me know what you did to fix this. i read 8.0 and even 8.1 have been having BT issues across several manufactures.

I have the oneplus 5, no issues with mine. You have the same bespoke audio module stuff as mine, I added the module myself however. I suggest you try other phones, to determine if its the OPO or the head unit. If its the opo I suggest wiping your cache

sadly already confirmed my wife's Samsung GS7 Edge with recent 8.0 upgrade works perfectly. Also done a cache wipe. What version are you running on your 5?

The only other thing I can suggest is submitting a bug report on the one-plus forums as well as contacting oneplus support and/or try one of the beta builds as it may have fixed an issue or two. Bluetooth issues seem to be relatively common right now on the latest updates some people were complaining about it before as well and currently on the oneplus 6.

Yup I have already done so. They want logs. I will try and give this to them. If not I may need to switch phones which I do not want to do....

:lol: Don't give them that screenshot take debug logs while trying to connect to bluetooth on something


1. Press Build Number in about phone 5 times till you see developer mode available or something like that

2. Go to settings scroll down to developer options
3. Press take bug report and then press full report

They sent me instructions. Already uploaded. Lets see what they say.. :/

Tried Beta 10 and 12 and same shit... Uggg

I am going to try a full factory reset. Otherwise I will wait for the devs.
