I am looking to upgrade my HID bulbs with Philips Gen2 D4S bulbs. These look half the price of Philips. Any experience with these DAMA Kanji bulbs?

Looked up the brand, they're apparently trustworthy and perform better than Phillips Osram OEM equipment.

Thanks! I just ordered from hidconcepts. For less than half the price of Philips, I think it was worth trying. I was mainly worried about the UV filter. But I am assuming that using Philips quartz means UV is filtered properly. I will post how it works.

I have installed the DAMA D4S 5000K HID bulbs. They are true 5000K, meaning that as close to LED white as it can get without any hint of blue. The build quality looks and feels exactly like the stock Osram Xenarcs but brightness is noticeably better. The night visibility is an upgrade compared to stock bulbs for sure. I am happy with the these bulbs and hidconcepts did a flawless job with everything in sales and shipping. I just cannot comment on long term reliability but the build quality and lighting performance inspires confidence for sure. I will post again if there is any failure.

For reference: the following video describes the "easy procedure" of installing HID bulbs.
