HKS Hipermax SP coilover settings

Hoping anyone who is running these can chime in on what settings you are running, both damping/compression plus alignment specs & lowering.

Have a track day this Thuesday and need to get these installed and aligned before then.

Depends on the track... I started at 15 clicks up front and 15 in the rear to get a feel for Palmer. Went there with -2.5 camber F and R only. Did not do anything to the toe. I'm comfortable with 23 clicks in the front and 18 in the rear with my best time of 2:08. This will vary depending on your skill set and what you have done to the car (weight savings, if you have a rear wing, etc..)

Hope that helps.

Just to confirm - when you say 23 clicks in front and 18 in the rear, you mean 23 and 18 clicks from full soft (+8 and +3 from "neutral"), correct ?

I don't have the HKS rear adjuster key. Is it just a glorified allen key with a long handle?

Correct. Adjust accordingly from there when you are at the track, and yes, it is just an allen key.

Coils are in and will be going for an alignment this week sometime. I tried the car around town with a few different settings. 15/15 wasn't bad comfort-wise. From there I went to 20/20. It really stuck, but didn't 'rotate' as well as it did on the stock suspension, if that makes sense.

I'm going to try your setting of 23/18 now and see how that feels.

Are you running stock swaybars and endlinks with your setup? Any aero?

What ride height (fender to ground) are you running? In my garage mine measures ~25 1/4" front and 25 3/16" rear.

Funny thing is, when driving it feels like the front end is higher (relative to the back) than it was on the stock springs.

Hey sorry to bring this back up but wondering how you go? I installed mine and felt the same it doesn’t seem to rotate as well as stock. I’ve been trying to play around with it this whole week but can’t seem to find the right settings. Was wondering what did you end up doing?
