Whine when accelerating
 

2013 FR-S AT
When accelerating I can hear a whine, other than muffler delete car is stock.
What do you guys think?

my transmission did that for a while. Not sure why, it got back to being quiet before i found out what's was it. XD

I love the whine thou so.........

I can't hear any whine because of the exhaust.

I don't have an AT for comparison .. so why am I posting ..:iono:

Mine is stick, its very faint but i can hear it when I'm taking off from a stop

Stole my idea

'Tis a RWD car with paper towel soundproofing so you will hear noises you are not used too hearing. All is good.

Or...

My wife is riding with you since she is well known to whine, grip the edge of the seat, yell at me or even close her eyes and turn white when I am accelerating.

its the tranny. I hear it too sometimes when everything is cold (not sure that has anything to do with it) but if it whines up with your speed rather than rpms then its tranny.

Change your AT fluids and see if it continues to whine
