Carbotech XP8 Track Pads

Maybe 6 or 7 AutoX's and a couple hundred Street miles. They're pretty close to new. These are $337 new, I'm asking $215 OBO SHIPPED CONUS.

I've had these for a good while now, stored inside and in the dark, and I was using them for AutoX and intended to use them for HPDE as well. I bed them orginally into freshly turned rotors and then swapped between these (for competition) and Carbotech 1521's (for street) the day before and day after an event. Unfortunately I'm not doing any competitive events at the moment and won't be able to in the near future, so I don't need track pads as much as I need money for living expenses. You can run these no problem on the street as long as you don't mind some occasional squeal. Carbotech dust is not corrosive so it won't hurt the finish on wheels! I'm obviously open to offers and thank you for looking.

Sorry, I just have a question. How do you find the 1521's for street use? I've been looking for a solid daily pad.

They're great for daily use, no complaints there. However when it comes to really pushing them on a mountain (I brake hard and late) they do tend to overheat a bit quickly, or rather: get a bit grabby and lose the linear nature I like in a fun pad. I'm transitioning away from them (after probably 25,000 miles) pretty soon as well, they've done well but I'm changing it up to something in between the 1521 and XP8 in aggressiveness. If you're really curious I could probably mail you what's left of all four corners for like $20+shipping and you can test them all you want haha
Edit: you're in Canada... not actually sure how shipping would work in that case

Tried to PM you back but it says you're not set up/not allowed to receive private messages, if you're too new of a member that might be the problem. You've got to do a certain number of things to be a full forum member IIRC. You can send me an email address if you'd prefer, or you'll probably be able to receive PM's pretty soon if you're new. I'll try and check back tomorrow.
For now: sale pending

Did you get my message with my email address?
