Nav upgrade works except enTune registration
 

Bought a Nav upgrade unit off eBay (PT296-00140) with cables for $170. Easy install using the DIY instructions in the forum. GPS maps works fine but the Entune app suite on my phone doesn't recognize my VIN# so I can't register.


It says: "Please ensure you have entered the VIN correctly and your vehicle is Entune or Enform App Suite capable"



Is this because the VIN# didn't have the NAV on the original build list?


How do I get around this????

Messaged the eBay'r that I bought the nav upgrade unit from and he had the VIN# that the unit came from. Registered using that number for the Entune app on my phone and worked fine.:w00t:
