Budget 3 piece wheels
 

Already set up to purchase some faces and now ill need lips and barrels but I would like to find the most cost effective way to do so. Even if i could shave off $15 per lip and barrel it saves me some money to put towards better rubber. Anyone have any experience with this that could help me out?

What is your target offset? Do you know the specs of lips and barrels you are wanting?


Question: If you are having difficulty saving up to build four wheels; what happens if one or two get damaged?


This is the first question that I asked myself. Will I be able to afford to replace one or two wheels? Will they be available if this happens?


I have had rare wheels in the past. When one got bent; I could not find another wheel that matched. Just saying, it's something to think about if $15 (even 8 X $15 for each lip and barrel is only $120 total) is make or break for you.
