How do I find autox and track days??

So I bought a 2014 brz M/T and I am a noob to the whole autox and track thing. I was curious on how I get into the scene. Also not sure if there is a age restriction given I am 18. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also I'm in the suburbs of Chicago so if you know any events that are close that would be greatly appreciated.

There are a few places to get started.

most use motorsports reg, you can go on there and sign up for their email, which will give you updates on events in your area

Adding to Justin's list

http://tsscc.org - sister club to the Chicago SCCA solo chapter. Next AutoX is Jul 8 at Autobahn. Both clubs mostly run Rt66 so you even get to sleep in!

BMW club also does events, and plenty of others.

I only run Chicago and Milwaukee SCCA events plus TSSCC... I need the few weekends off that allows.

Also, 18 and a valid drivers license and a car that passes tech is all you need. Maybe a helmet, but loaners are available with the clubs I run.

As mentioned, SCCA organizations for autox and TSSCC. You're right by Rte 66 where Chicago Region SCCA runs. You're also near Autobahn Country Club, which is an excellent track for momentum cars, like the Toyobaru.

You can also join Midwest 86 Cup on FB, that's where most of the local 86 track folks congregate online. 86 Track Cars is a great resource too.

For track day groups that run in the area, I'd recommend:

GPS Track Time
Windy City BMW
MVP Track Time
Laps Inc
Gridlife

Join the Midwest 86 Cup group I mentioned above and introduce yourself, myself and others will be happy to welcome you and offer plenty of insight/advice!
