range predictor very pessimistic...

Since I did a couple of days at Palmer Motorsports Park a couple of weeks ago, the estimated range figure I get is extremely pessimistic. After filling the car last night it predicted ~270 miles range. Should be at least 350 miles based on my usage, highway commuting, 30mpg average. Did the same thing last tankful, predicted range based on getting ~21mpg instead of actual 30mpg. I expected it to adapt back to 30mpg usage over that tankful but it hasn't. I reset the average mpg after every tank, so it shouldn't still be considering track usage.
Weird...

Have you try resetting the second page (the one between the MPG and the temperature) with the trip meter and average speed, and running time? Maybe that would help.

I had something similar happen to me after a track day back in April. The day after, I was driving back home (about 150mi drive IIRC) and the average trip MPG wasn't changing, pretty much at all. So I reset both the top screen and the next one, like @nico_rsx suggested, and since then haven't had any issues.

Would definitely recommend that.

I reset both screens the other day when I filled it. The average mpg has been working fine, reporting it's usual optimistic ~32mpg. Still basing range on much lower fuel mileage...

Filled it up last night, predicted 292 miles on this tank, up from 270 last tank. It seems to be learning *very* slowly! Would make more sense if it based it on average mpg since last reset. Going to be tracking it at Mont Tremblant Monday/Tuesday, and pretty much once per month for the next several months, so probably will have wildly pessimistic range estimator until winter...
