Engine Bay easily gets dirty?
Every few weeks, whenever I open my engine bay to give it a quick fluids check, i notice its REALLY dusty/dirty. Which is suprising to me considering our other cars only start to get dusty after a year. The BRZs engine bay is literally 10x faster in getting dirty/dusty. Is it something of the design of the car? lets more air in somewhere? hood ventilation design near the windshield? Or could there be something wrong with my hood seals or something...

Are you missing your metal and plastic shielding underneath? Having removed even just my plastic undershield, my engine bay gets significantly messier.

Under my hood basically has the large insulation foam at the center, and then it has these rectangle long rubber seals that seal off above each headlight. anything missing? |
