Arma Speed Carbon Intake thoughts?
Hey guys,
What are your thoughts on this? It’s a dry carbon fiber intake by Arma Speed USA. https://www.armaspeedusa.com/collect...-intake-system https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...5ba0780d93.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...9db8f139fc.jpg IG: @Smalaihollo |
Pretty.

Too expensive.

Looks really dumb. Probably no actual hp increase.

I'm gonna say that, hey its your car and if your happy I'm happy for you. Almost spending a grand on an intake is too much for me. I'd rather buy some bad ass tires. Some Michelin 4s or Michelin sport cup. IMO. looks different though.

Does it come with a douchey sticker to put on the window? +25 HP.

Looks like 2 more screws to remove if you need to do anything.

Looks like more the show car crowd that has to have entire engine bay CF. For that price they should have some real dyno performance benefits but that's doubtful. Plus it still has the part for the stupid sound tube.
|
Hah, just noticed that. So dumb to keep that part and cap it off. Fuck the noise generator bullshit.

The large top piece appears to be more of a cover panel rather than an induction box. Pity.

The small stock airbox is all it needs

Your way of marketing only works if you are not affiliated with the product(s) in question on the surface. It's okay, we all start somewhere and make mistakes. |

I think you got a little overly defensive/misunderstood my reply. With the grimmspeed I still wouldn't believe there stock dyno numbers, however I do believe the OFT tuned numbers with them. If you're gonna pay $800+ for a CAI it definitely shouldn't be this for all that CF charm |

Our stock airboxes are an improved design of the 2008 Subaru intake that can handle 350hp. Even a car with ACE headers isn’t sucking in enough air to need an aftermarket intake. |
