Pikachu VS Eevee.. Pokemon let's go price...??¿¿
 

So, went on Amazon.ca for like 2 seconds, was looking to see the price of the new pokeball plus thing, but then didn't see a price for Pokemon Eevee Let's go.. Clicked on it, it said had to add to cart to see price..

The price is 59.96 CAD, VS Pikachu's full retail of 79.99 CAD... I get more people will buy Pikachu, but Pokemon games have a history for never going on sale or dropping in price for their entire shelf life.

I was reminiscing a few months ago about my pikachu tomagatchi thing I had in grade school. Thought I could score one on ebay for like $5 or something. Not even close.

I notice the games and such hold a lot of value vs the cards which are mostly worthless. And very worthless if you compare to how high the prices for certain cards were back in the day.

I still remember opening a Booster and getting a Venasaur holo on my birthday. Wasn't a first edition but was sweet. Also saving change and buying first edition expansion pack boosters at the gamestop for 2.99

I traded a first edition holo kangaskhan and mr mime for my holo charizard (LOL)

It's my generation that makes Pokemon so valuable, first edition holo Charizard is currently worth a fortune because of how desirable it is to some people around my age. I'd hang on to it for a long time.

eh, I have to agree with @ZionsWrath..a little while ago I was looking at prices just to see if it would be worth selling cards from my childhood but they definitely tanked compared to what they could sell for 18 years ago. Maybe some cards have held their value, but overall seems pretty crappy...so I just gave my box of cards to my son lol

For a piece of paper with some shiny foil, I'd say that's quite impressive.
