Do I need rear toe arms?
Currently i am running BC extreme lows and i'm also thinking about getting parts by max rear control arms. I am dropped 4 inches all around and wondering would I need to purchase adjustable toe arms as well prior to installing the control arms?

I want to see a pic of your car with it 0.9" ground clearance.

According to the specs, i've maxed out my coils and it gives a 4inch drop all around. i can be wrong but i'm going according to specs.
|
I've replaced my rear axles once already and a year later i'm looking to replace them again, is why i'm looking to get control arms and toe arms. But i'm not 100% sure if i'll need toe arms.

No, you need Jesus.
|
i mean i've been dailying for the past 4 years this low. Now that I've finally paid my car off, I have a few extra bucks to start buying car parts
|
humfrz: oh, one CAN drive on roads with 4" drop. On trailer. :)
Phothiraj: 4" drop from 4.9" stock ground clearance? Yeah, you gonna need car parts to replace damaged ones :) At least you will save $ on struts/springs/coilovers (as i guess you have welded suspension, haven't you?) :) |
I'm actually on stock suspension. No mods to it besides Coilovers. But this must mean i'm not dropped 4". I was just saying 4" because that's what the specs read for when maxed. Car drives fine, by no means am I tracking it, but I have been doing a drift event once a year when I have the time. Other than that it's been reliable for the past 85k miles.

If you've been dropped and properly aligned with stock control arms the only reason you'd need aftermarket toe arms is if you wanted to adjust outside of their current available adjustment.
Crawl under and take a picture of the cam bolts on each side of the car, post them up, someone here should be able to tell you if you have any adjustment left on the factory control arms. Also specify what you want out of your alignment, -2 degrees of camber, probably no problem, -20 degrees of camber you'll need aftermarket. Edit: you're looking for this bolt that has a bunch of tick marks on it, try to look at it as straight on as possible. https://sep.yimg.com/ay/titanmotorsp...-brz-frs-8.png |
