HELP with oft
Anyone here local to the SoCal area with oft experience can assist me on mine.
I recently bout mine and downloaded all the required files for the oft but upon marrying my car with my tablet I can’t write any tunes. I see there is a possible issue from ft86(via YouTube) saying it’s gonna happen to some cars. So I reached out to the provider and only got the same reply on both emails. I’m very disappointed in this but haven’t given up as do want to give this a test. Any help or meet up on it will be much appreciated. I’ll even drive out if your close by. |
Are you the original owner of your car? Did you buy the tablet new or used? Also have you checked the status of your vehicle under tune bot or diagnostic?
|
If you can read but cannot click write, you bought a married oft.

I don’t think it’s married to another of the vin from the tablet matches my cars vin

Also done all those steps thaeyo

Where you located? Maybe someone near you can help if you post your location.

What decimus said, where are you located?
|
This sounds dumb, but when you hooked up the OFT to the OFT Manager on your PC, did you upload the tune files specific to your model/make?
|
I'm in the riverside (ie) area going towards palm springs. I have done all the required downloads with the manager and tunes download but the files wont allow me to open them or set them to the folders needed on the manager. now I cant even open them because the files said I don't have the permission to do so.
