Ken Gushi's personal FR-S and Scion Racing FR-S discussed in MotoIQ Radio interview

Here is a MotoIQ Radio interview featuring Ken Gushi briefly talking about plans on his personal Firestorm FR-S but mostly the Formula D Seattle event this past weekend, trials/tribulations from this season, and his upcoming Pike's Peak race in an IS-F. There's also mention of the widebody kit on the infamous Rocket Bunny. ;)

Here is GoPro footage from the FR-S during the Seattle event (skip to 5:15 for the actual run). They talk a lot about the driving lines and changes to the Seattle course in the interview so this should bring some context:

For those who don't follow drifting (myself included), this documentary can update you on the current playing field for more context. You'll see how the FR-S can be considered an underdog:

Not a fan of how he's got his wheels set up (I like mine to have some sidewall), but I may have just creamed my panties over that spoiler!

FYI I believe that's a concept rendering; not his car. The kit is being developed in Japan by Trust which is connected to GReddy which is connected to Gushi.

Yep, Trust is just the parent company, Greddy is their brand.

Update: Ken Gushi has taken taken delivery of his personal Firestorm FR-S and modding has commenced with the quickness. Endorsing the GReddy Evo3 Exhaust and GReddy/aFe Intake. Wheels are TE37SL Black Edition. 18x9.5+40 on Hankook Ventus v12 235-40-18 on all 4. The car is dropped on KW V3.

super dig it. Those are similar to the wheel specs I was planning on running too (only difference is 9" wide up front and 245's in the rear.)

Has there been any word on the efffects on aero of having that huge air pocket in the faux diffuser after taking out the stock muffler? I know honda boys cut speedholes (lol) in their rear bumpers because they are so disturbed by this very thing
