HELP! BRZ 2017 stalls when switching to OL

Hi Guys,

I am making some changes onto the Stage1 OTS map and was looking into getting the car switch to Open Loop once it reaches a certain RPM by changing the following tables:

1. CL Delay Maximum Engine Speed
2. CL Delay Engin Speed B Counter Threshold

See picture below (OTS vs Changes):

but the moment the car hits 3500 RPM @ 1st Gear, it bunny hops then stalls.

Can you please advise?

Thanks a lot!

Id probably put those setting back to stock. Not many people change those settings, maybe the def is incorrect or the table function is not properly understood.

If you maf scaling is good then open to closed loop transition should be fine anyway.

I only changed DropIn filter + Perrin Inlet (didnt touch the box) should i change MAF scaling?

Thanks! I’ve made it stock for now. I just somehow feel like it kicks in a little too late... is there a way around that?

it doesnt kick too late i think, it is also dependent on throttle opening and anyway, closed loop helps keeps timing high and consume less fuel

maf scaling is not necessary but i always noticed improvement in doing it, in any case.,. every car is different

Maf scaling should be fine if intake assembly is stock.

I dont think their anything to be gained by forcing oen loop earlier.

You can jist make the oen loop and closed loop fuel tsrget tables similar

These days latest trend is to ise full time closed loop but you would need ecutek system to do that.

On na car not rearly needed just use ol and cl fuel tables. Stock it runs a lot leaner for longer in closed loop but just later the closed loop fuel tables A and B

Thanks for the responses guys! Maybe I’ll just need to modify CL and OL tables!
