Led foglight bulbs?

Hello, I wanted to know if anyone has put led bulbs for the fog lights that won't blind other people and won't scream after market bulb due to overly bright shine. I'd want something that would match somewhat to the headlight but my main concern is that it'll be too bright.. There were mentions of stage 2 Diode Dynamic led bulbs (in old post) but I can't seem to find that anywhere on their website. If anyone has pictures to share, that would be great! I really don't like the yellow halogen fog lights :(

What type bulbs are meant to go in halogen housings?
A) halogen
B) HID
C) LED

Take this simple quiz, double check your answer in the back of the book, and you’ll know what’s correct.

Oh sorry, i want lED bulbs because i heard HIDs can melt the plastic housing. I just want to get rid of thealogen bulb and make the fog lights white, matching the headlight color as close as possible

What I’m getting at is if you want an LED bulb, get an LED projector.

LED housings actually have LEDs built into the assembly. It’s not a matter of simply swapping bulbs if they burn out. Check out OLM they have a few designs with projectors but they are around $150.

So you dont think just replacing the halogen bulbs with led bulbs is a good idea? On speedfactory i saw that they sell olm led bulbs (no housing) for around 35 bucks to fit into oem housing. Any thought?
I'll definitely look into the projector though, thanks!

If you look at the description they may say “off-road use only”.

Besides man, we have beautiful cars. If your fogs are blinding people they won’t even be able to see the lines on your car.

Can I ask what you run for your fog lights? And how is the brightness?
I really dont want overly bright ones and blind people.

I deleted my BRZ fog lights, I thought it cleaned up the front a bit.

Check out this thread it'll help you out. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=125245

The problem with BRZs is that they use an odd bulb size for the foglight its PSX24W I believe so our choices are limited. I used a yellow vinyl overlay from Lamin-X as I wanted the yellow foglight look.

I just ordered HP48 from diode dynamics, I'll do a follow up post if you guys want. It's one of the less brighter bulb, and DD said it's not gonna blind any oncoming traffic so....

Idk why my headlight in before picture is cooler white than the after, which look a lot yellower.
Cant really capture much with my phone camera but hp48 are a lot whiter and cooler than the stock headlight which makes them appear yellow :/ https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...782fe8cef3.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...c252a82e3b.jpg
