This intake was designed by AFE which there are already group buys for.
I ordered mine through Titan Motorsports

I thought it looked familiar in the pic. Then I read it's made by aFe. Still sad there's no sound tube delete option!

Afe takeda has now the sound delete on their version

I know afe has been dealing with greddy in the making of this system but will they be using the same filter?

Looks like they will only be using the dry filter and not the oiled filter offered by afe

Why is everyone worried about the sound tube generator. Some dynos show a 1whp loss with removal of thia tube and others say it makes no change to the hp. Personally it sounds good in the car. This will help people learn the engine sounds of their cars, which is important in racing.

That's fine I like dry filters when the MAF sensor is right in front of the throttle body.

We aren't worried about the hp, its to clean up the engine bay because some people, like myself, thinks its ugly...

I just don't like the idea of piping sound into the cabin.

You can hear the engine just fine with an aftermarket intake, without the sound tube.

I'd rather save 300 hundred dollars, keep the sound tube, and not have to worry about some stupid aftermarket intake costing me power...
